Ephesians, chapter 5, provides examples on how Christians are to treat each other. It begins with an admonition to walk in love. This includes the husband and wife relationship, which it addresses in verses 20–33. These are not verses to use as sledgehammers on each other but rather things we each need to read, comprehend, and obey. Otherwise, we must certainly answer a question the Lord Jesus Christ asked, “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke:6:46). —TBC

"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor."
